Nice stay at this Hampton Inn. Staff was friendly and my 4th floor room was very clean and very quiet, which is what I cared most about. It's not swanky (friends were at the Doubletree across the road, which is more recently updated) and the carpet has seen better days, but I really appreciated the free coffee and tea in the lobby--it was nice to come back at the end of the day and have decaf and herbal teas to choose from. Breakfast was good, the scrambled eggs were actually edible and the coffee was very good. This was convenient to my family in north Ann Arbor and close to a really nice market (Plum Market) if you need a snack or bottle of wine. The bus to downtown leaves from right next to the hotel and was a pleasant ride for just $1.50!

Staff were very helpful and had suggestions for restaurants in the local area including one that delivered to the hotel. We went over to Banditos for dinner and we're pleasantly surprised with the Mexican food being very authentic. We're from California and are rather picky when it comes to this. Lol. We stayed there one night at the beginning of our vacation and one night at the end prior to going for a late flight in Detroit. They were very accommodating allowing for late checkout. The food for breakfast was very good. Having 24-hour coffee was a plus for my wife. The beds were very very comfortable and the comforters that they use were very very nice.

Really appreciated the look of the room and how it had been deftly apportioned with the beautiful woodwork and cloth window shade instead of a curtain and that the room had a thermostat on the wall and not directly on the ac/heating unit itself. The heating and cooling unit also ran very quietly. Corner bathroom sink was a great space saver. Total room had a very upscale vibe. Liked the welcome and departing gifts as well...very nice touch!

We drove down for a MI football game. We loved the location. Close to stores and restaurants. My son had fun playing in the pool. We had it all to ourselves for at least two hours. Great price compared to most hotels in the area, especially for a football season weekend.

Was able to spot the hotel from the US-23 exit ramp. Located close to main roads, yet enough of a buffer zone to negate traffic noise. Couldn't turn down the breakfast, especially Sunday--and that's a good thing given the situation encountered at my destination.
